This session will do a “deeper dive” into the new Revenue Recognition standard, building upon the discussion contained in the GAAP Update session. It will provide an overview of the elements of ASU 2014-09 and subsequent FASB guidance that are most relevant for NFPs, and will discuss the additional guidance provided through the AICPA’s Task Forces. Panelists will also discuss how to plan for implementation of the standard, provide examples of how to apply the standard in practice, and answer audience questions.
